Cuetzalan Magic Towns

CUETZALAN is located at 183 kilometers from Puebla, the capital of the state.

One of the main features of the city is that its streets are large and marked pending. The city was incorporated into the tourism system of Magical Towns in 2002. Their value lies in the development of Indian life with large populations that retain their way of life, such as the development of indigenous radio for the area, or the anthropological value of the extensive market that rises every Sunday.

Although there are few tourist services consumption profile as restaurants, local crafts, cafes, bars and nightclubs, it’s a place of great attraction for its beauty, climate and traditions.

It belonged to Totonacapan founded in 200 BC by the Totonacs as demonstrated in Yohualichan, the archaeological zone of the town.
