National Park of San Pedro Mártir: It takes in the mountain area of the Sierra of San Pedro Máritr in Baja California. It has a variety of conifer species and serves as an important refuge for wildlife like the bighorn sheep. The wooded extension is surrounded by vast deserts, among which, the most important is San Felipe desert. The general climate that arises is the semi dry, although in the high parts is tempered and semi-arid in the lower parts. The winter rains are frequent and sometimes accompanied by snow and blizzards.
Loreto Bay: Protected natural area of Mexico, in the Sea of Cortez waters and also, part of the state of Baja California Sur. Due to the 30 species of marine mammals, which some of them are subject to special protection, it is a very important place in the state. This national park is one of the most visited of the country, attending numerous national and foreign visitors to observe the great diversity of fauna, among which they can see dolphins, sea lions and manta ray; the most important spectacle is the annual migration of whales that choose the warm waters of the Sea of Cortez for mating. It is also known that many tourist activities such as canoeing, rowing, kayaking, diving and fishing are practiced, among others.
